Applied Behavior Analysis uses scientific evidence based teaching methods to increase desirable behaviors such as language and communication, social skills, academic readiness, self-care, daily living, leisure, and tolerating/coping skills.
The goal of ABA is to increase behaviors that are functional and helpful and decrease behaviors that are harmful or that may affect learning.
